PW12C הוא תא עומס נקודתי מאלומיניום בקיבולות נומינליות של 50–750 kg. המשטח המרבי המוגדר הוא 800×800 mm. בוחרים קיבולת וגאומטריית התקנה המתאימות גם לעומס וגם למשטח.
זו דרגת סיווג לפי OIML R60. הגיליון מציין 3000 מרווחי אימות לתא, ומרווח אימות מינימלי המשתנה לפי הקיבולת. אין להתייחס למספר הזה כקצב דגימה או כאחוז דיוק.
הוראת ההתקנה בשרטוט דורשת לכוונן את מעצור עומס היתר ולקבע אותו במקומו במהלך ההתקנה, למשל באמצעות חומר לנעילת תבריג. אין להניח שהמעצור מותאם אוטומטית לכל מבנה משטח.
