Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most common questions about our products and services

Laser sensors use triangulation and suit a wide range of applications with accuracy down to 0.01 micron. Confocal sensors use chromatic technology and deliver nanometre accuracy, especially on shiny, transparent or angled surfaces. Confocal sensors are particularly suited to measuring glass thickness, thin layers and complex surfaces.

Yes. You can send samples to our feasibility lab before buying — that is how we recommend a sensor, not the other way round.

Sensors from stock usually arrive within a few weeks. An integrated system is planned per project, and the schedule is given in the quote.

Yes. Equipment comes with the manufacturer's warranty, and you can add a maintenance contract — periodic calibration, repairs and engineering support for the product's life.
