Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most common questions about our products and services

No. Match function, pinout, signals and model. capaNCDT triaxial, RS422 and power cables serve different paths.

Not necessarily. The catalogue distinguishes fixed, moving, drag-chain and robotic use. Check cable type and bending radius for the intended motion.

Yes. Head values refer to specified cable and length adjustment. Select cable/length as part of the channel configuration rather than assuming every extension preserves performance.

An integral cable may terminate in open ends; a pigtail is a short connector-terminated section for a specified extension. Select by model configuration rather than family image.

Check its connection conditions. Where the rating requires a mated plug, use the specified connected cable/plug to claim that protection.

The receiving input load must also match. For example, the DT62xx specification documents at least 10 kΩ load for the voltage output and a maximum 500 Ω burden for the current output. These conditions apply to the documented outputs, not to every sensor or controller.
