When a small spot is needed at short distance. Use the correct lens/optics spot-distance curve, not only the standard optical ratio.
Optics changes measurement geometry. Temperature accuracy has separate material/environment conditions; a smaller spot alone does not establish improved accuracy.
No. Match transmission to the pyrometer spectral band and configure it according to the instructions. Visible transparency alone is insufficient.
No. Match connector type, fiber and optical arrangement. confocalDT tables, for example, specify FC/APC and E2000/APC connection paths.
No. Check accessory code and compatible models. A changed optic, fiber or window can change system measurement conditions.
Do not assume a universal adapter exists. The manufacturer offers dedicated 90° beam-path head configurations selected for installation space and measuring range. Check the head model and its approved accessories before assembling the system.
