Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most common questions about our products and services

No. Some use specified DC supplies; systems such as DT6530 use mains input. Check every component’s input requirements.

The catalogue specifies a 24 VDC, 2.5 A supply with 100–240 VAC input and rail mounting. Verify voltage and power suitability for the selected system.

No. Include controllers, demodulators and accessories. DT62xx, for example, specifies base consumption plus consumption per demodulator.

No. Match voltage, polarity and model pin assignment. Similar connectors may also carry other signals or functions.

Supply compatibility is an operating requirement. Accuracy, linearity and resolution still depend on head/controller specifications and system conditions, not supply alone.

For DC power, calculate current from power and supply voltage using I=P/V and total all supplied modules. For example, include the additional measuring modules in a capaNCDT controller. Allow a design margin and check startup currents according to component instructions.
