No. The accessory table assigns fiber codes by head and span. Connectors, core diameter and variant differ; IFS2402/IFS2403 already include fibers.
The confocalDT table specifies an FC/FC coupler or vacuum-feedthrough/continuation arrangement for certain fibers such as C2400. Do not assume direct connection.
They are separately defined accessory variants for the relevant movement/protection conditions. Length alone does not determine motion suitability.
Many specify 30 mm static and 40 mm dynamic, while certain HT/UHV variants require 60 mm in both cases. Use the exact fiber-code footnote.
Select vacuum-side fiber, an optical feedthrough with appropriate flange/channel count and a controller-side continuation. Head vacuum suitability alone does not qualify the entire path.
It carries light to the head and returned light to the controller. It is part of the optical measuring path rather than a head power cable. Distinguish a passive IFS head from IFD models with integrated electronics and select connections for the configuration.
