A measuring controller operates/evaluates the head. A DPU accepts compatible sensor data for calculation or conversion; it does not replace every head controller.
No. Check model, hardware variant, interface and function in the compatibility information. Brand or mechanical fit is insufficient.
No. The table assigns IFL2422/LED to IFC2422/IFC2466 and IFL24x1/LED to IFC2421/IFC2465. Select by controller code.
Some can. DPU inputs, for example, can be configured for encoder or RS422. Check module and input-mode support for the exact signal.
No. It may add calculation or an output path, but sensor, interface and processing must all support the required system throughput.
On a suitable device, such as Dual Processing Unit, configure the measurement value and its mapping to the output voltage or current range. Use the same scaling in the receiving DAQ or controller; do not assume the output always represents the entire sensor range.
