Type 4957 is a miniature array microphone for beamforming, acoustic holography and STSF, as well as simultaneous recording across many channels.
Free-field response is specified at ±2 dB from 100 Hz to 5 kHz, and ±3 dB from 50 Hz to 10 kHz, relative to 250 Hz.
It includes a CCLD DeltaTron preamplifier and a detachable SMB cable. The same coaxial cable carries the signal, power and TEDS data.
Array calculations use phase differences between microphones. Type 4957 has specified phase matching against a factory reference, alongside its individual calibration data.
No. It is prepolarized. Its internal preamplifier requires CCLD power with an appropriate input and cable.
