It measures sound pressure on surfaces, including wind-tunnel and flight tests, using flush mounting to reduce flow disturbance.
Both support TEDS. Version 4948 B adds a CIC input for remote verification of the measurement channel, including preamplifier and cabling.
Its built-in DeltaTron preamplifier connects to a CCLD input. Match the power supply and cable to the microphone configuration.
Pressure-field response is specified from 10 Hz to 10 kHz at ±1 dB, and from 5 Hz to 20 kHz at ±3 dB, relative to 250 Hz.
The sheet specifies operation from −55 to +100 °C. Its titanium construction supports corrosion resistance; also check the selected cable and mounting conditions.
