No. capaNCDT distinguishes sensor and controller linearity and their system contribution. Specify the corresponding head, controller and calibration rather than assigning one component’s figure to the whole system.
Two-sided thickness is calculated by subtracting both measured distances from the sensor baseline. Baseline calibration is part of system setup, beyond calibrating each head separately.
No. Sensor and controller specifications treat resolution and linearity separately. Use the documented calibration or linearity result for the configuration and its measurement conditions.
Identify the head and controller models, connection configuration, measurement range and calibrated quantity. For thickness systems include geometry and baseline, distinguishing component calibration from system measurement calibration.
No. For example, a capacitive measurement chain and a two-sided thickness system have different measurement arrangements. Select calibration equipment for the measured quantity, configuration and applicable manufacturer procedure.
