The ILD1900 SGHF arrangement uses air to help clean protective windows and cool the sensor. SGHF-HT configurations use water cooling. Select according to the specific housing’s protection mechanism and requirements.
No. For example, the scanCONTROL 8x00 catalogue distinguishes IP67 from IP40 when active cooling is used. Use the assembled configuration’s rating rather than the bare sensor rating.
No. SGH is described as protecting against water, solvents and detergents, but that does not justify inventing an IP number. Show a numeric code only when documented for the housing and connection configuration.
Preserve the illumination/receiving path and follow the housing’s cleaning and installation instructions. Mechanical fit alone does not establish measurement performance through the window.
