Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most common questions about our products and services

A transmitted-light optical micrometer measures diameter/width, edge and gap using transmitter and receiver rather than a surface-facing distance head.

No. Width span differs from unit spacing and target-to-receiver distance. Each is separately specified.

Do not infer that. The source marks 100 kHz with −3 dB, while the module interface is limited to 4 kHz. Check each path by its defined quantity.

No. Footnotes specify distance, temperature and warm-up, with performance decreasing at larger distances. Preserve the test conditions.

The table lists 0–10 V analog and switching outputs. Ethernet and EtherCAT require an interface module; select matching transmitter/receiver cables too.
