Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about our products and services
It is a single-axis piezoelectric charge accelerometer with shear geometry and a balanced output. It measures vibration on rotating machinery.
The manual identifies the external 2661 charge amplifier. Select amplifier gain, frequency band, power and cabling for the sensor and acquisition system.
Sensitivity is 10 pC/(m/s²) at ±5% at the reference frequency, with a ±2000 m/s² peak measuring range. Shock survivability is a separate quantity.
The documented band is 1 Hz to 10 kHz at ±10%. Resonance above 28 kHz does not extend the specified measuring band.
Yes. The manual permits any mounting position, with rigid coupling and the measurement axis aligned to the required vibration. Select cable configuration and length separately.
