Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about our products and services
It is a two-axis capacitive accelerometer for low-frequency vibration down to DC. Applications include structures, wind-turbine towers and slowly rotating machinery.
Measuring range is ±2 g peak on both measurement axes, with 1000 mV/g sensitivity at ±5%. Match the acquisition-input range to the resulting signal.
The 0–1000 Hz band is specified at ±1 dB and 0–1800 Hz at −1/+3 dB. DC capability differs from that of an ordinary piezoelectric accelerometer.
Align X and Y with the measurement plane and use two M6 screws on a rigid, clean surface. The connection is a 5-pin M12; AC-1401 is the recommended cable.
The sensor is specified from −40 to +85 °C, but with AC-1401 the upper limit is +80 °C. IP66/IP67 applies to the sensor together with the cable connector.
