Answers to the most common questions about our products and services
It is a piezoelectric vibration accelerometer with an integrated amplifier for rotating machinery such as turbines, pumps and compressors. Nominal sensitivity is 10 mV/g at ±5%.
It requires 2–10 mA constant current, nominally 4 mA. In a hazardous area it must connect to an approved intrinsically safe circuit under the certificate voltage, current and power limits.
The integrated cable is documented up to 50 m, with optional stainless-steel protective tubing up to 10 m. Combined sensor-and-cable capacitance changes with length, so check the combination against the approved interface.
No. At 4 mA supply current, ±500 g is specified when available voltage exceeds 24 V; ±400 g is specified at 20 V and ±200 g at 18 V.
No. IP describes ingress protection, while Ex approval adds separate temperature, category and supply-chain conditions. Check both for the installation.
