Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about our products and services
RV measures radial shaft vibration as a peak-to-peak value. AP measures axial shaft position. Both use eddy-current sensing with integrated electronics.
Measurement electronics and the loop interface are integrated into the transmitter. A suitable loop supply and 4–20 mA input are required, but the documented configuration needs no separate sensor driver.
No. The RV loop is specified from 5 Hz to 4 kHz and the AP loop from DC to 0.8 Hz. The dynamic output is specified from DC to 8 kHz at −3 dB under separate conditions.
The specification assigns it to a potential-free portable instrument for system setup or analysis, not continuous operation. Total cable length on that path is limited to 15 m.
Select RV or AP measurement, range, thread, body length, cable and cable protection. DT-121 has a continuous thread, DT-122 includes a pressure-tight corrugated tube, and DT-123 supports reverse mounting.
