The manual requires a 3-core cable. If a 4-core cable is used, two conductors connect to COM as instructed.
A 4-core cable is required between the safety barriers and measurement electronics. Do not copy sensor-side wiring to the electronics side without checking the drawing.
The manual specifies a separate measurement-cable route and 1 m separation from power and control lines. Necessary crossings are perpendicular and as short as possible.
The shield connects to shield terminals on the mounting rail, and the intrinsically safe circuit cable is identified in light blue. Follow the manufacturer drawing and applicable local requirements.
The instructions specify a cross-section not below 0.5 mm², conductor-end sleeves and one-sided earthing of unused wires. Also apply shielding and routing requirements according to the approved chain diagram.
