No. The manual also permits stable manual positioning. Choose a stand when the sensor position must be maintained throughout the test.
The sensor indicator should light when the laser beam crosses the reference mark. Maintain a stable position and align as instructed.
No. It is only a mechanical accessory. Connecting the sensor to an instrument separately requires the appropriate cable and interface.
The specification documents an optical range of 100–2000 mm. Choose a stand and position that provide stable alignment to the reference mark within that range, and verify detection indication. This is optical distance to the target, not connection-cable length.
