It is an electrodynamic vibration-velocity sensor for measuring absolute machine bearing-housing vibration.
The model is intended for horizontal or vertical measurement within the mounting-angle limits shown in the drawing. Orientation is part of model selection.
At 80 Hz, input loading affects sensitivity: the base value is 70 mV/(mm/s), multiplied by load resistance divided by the sum of load resistance and 3 kΩ.
The specification lists IP66 and a shielded 5 m PTFE cable with open ends. Extension to 200 m through a terminal box is permitted under the installation instructions.
For the portable application with the 6-pin DIN-to-BNC adapter, movement in the illustrated direction produces a negative signal on the white conductor. This is the exception to the other models in the document.
