These MEMS vibration-velocity sensors support applications including slowly rotating turbines, fans, pumps and generators. Nominal sensitivity is 10 mV/(mm/s) at ±10%.
VSI-10x is straight and VSI-20x has a 90° design. Connection suffix 1 denotes an M12 connector and suffix 3 an integrated cable. Straight and angled designs also use different mounting arrangements.
No. Option 01 is specified from 1 Hz to 5 kHz at ±3 dB, and option 02 from 3 Hz to 5 kHz at ±3 dB. The bands at ±10% tolerance are narrower.
It requires a 3–12 mA constant-current supply with nominal 24 V. On the M12 connector, pin 1 is signal and power and pin 2 is the return; pins 3 and 4 must not be connected.
The sensor is specified from +5 to +121 °C, but with an AC-14xx cable the range is +5 to +90 °C. IP68 is documented for a 2-hour test at 5 bar; select the appropriate connection.
