Answers to the most common questions about our products and services
Recognition compares references. ACS7000 also uses a spectrometer to obtain colour coordinates for quantitative evaluation.
Yes. ACS7000 is designed for inline colour and shade inspection; head and rate selection remain application-specific.
A technical comparison must preserve colour space, illuminant and standard observer. ACS7000, for example, supports standard illuminants and 2°/10° observers.
No. Spectral resolution concerns wavelength separation; colour repeatability concerns stability of the colour result. The manufacturer specifies them with different metrics and units.
Specify recognition versus quantitative measurement, colour space, tolerance, rate, head position and surface. Select a head/controller combination matching that inspection method.
Choose a suitable illumination geometry. The colorCONTROL ACS7000 ACS2 head uses circular illumination to reduce directional effects on such surfaces. This is an optical-head feature, not a setting that can be added to every colour sensor.
