Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about our products and services
No. The family brochure’s 6 kHz at −3 dB describes frequency response. TIM-EC separately specifies a bus rate up to 20 kHz. Evaluate both for the selected system path.
No. TMC is the torque measurement communication interface. The brochure identifies separate TIM modules: TIM-EC for EtherCAT and TIM-PN for PROFINET. Select the corresponding adapter.
The brochure identifies 37.5 or 46.5 mm central bores and lightweight titanium construction. Check bore and connection dimensions against the assembly that must pass through the flange.
The brochure lists 500 N·m and 1 kN·m, with other ranges on request. Do not turn an on-request option into a standard model code without documentation.
No. The brochure describes digital rotor-to-stator transmission without measurement-system bearings or slip rings. Appropriate mechanical installation is still required.
