Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about our products and services
They mark the measurement spot for aiming. Temperature sensing itself uses infrared radiation.
No. It is a non-contact infrared temperature sensor with laser spot aiming, intended for industrial measurement and R&D.
It lists −50 to +975°C. This is not the permissible sensor ambient-temperature range.
It is the optical distance-to-spot ratio. Use the model curve to check that the target fills the measuring spot at working distance; spot size is not constant at every distance.
The page lists sensor-head ambient temperatures up to 85°C without cooling. Check controller limits and system connection options separately.
