Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about our products and services
Two laser sensors face opposite sides of the material on a common frame. The integrated evaluation unit calculates thickness from the distance measurements.
The manual specifies non-contact thickness measurement of nontransparent strips and plates. This is a two-sided arrangement; it does not establish suitability for one-sided transparent-layer measurement.
Yes. The described system uses two opposing laser sensors on a shared frame. Allow space for the frame and material movement.
No. It is calculated from both distances and the frame reference geometry. One surface-distance measurement alone does not determine moving-material thickness.
Specify minimum/maximum thickness, material, two-sided access and part movement. Both surfaces must stay within their corresponding sensor ranges.
