Measurement layout, cabling and channel count drive the choice. LAN-XI, for example, supports individual modules, frames and distributed modules within one architecture.
No. For example, LAN-XI 3161 provides several connector options for one input channel. Count channels from the configuration table, not the photograph.
The panel determines connection options and supported signal paths in the appropriate configuration. LAN-XI offers interchangeable panels whose compatibility must be checked against the module.
No. Frequency range describes signals that can be measured; sampling rate describes sample acquisition. The LAN-XI frequency-range table does not replace an explicit sampling-rate specification.
No. LAN-XI distinguishes individual modules that support PoE from 3660-C-100 and 3660-D-100 frames, which cannot be powered by PoE. Plan power for the selected architecture, switch and components.
A suitable synchronization mechanism is also required. LAN-XI describes sample synchronization using PTP in distributed systems. Validate the network and configuration, particularly for phase relationships or cross-channel results between separate units.
