Quality and certification

Certified quality management, calibration certificates and calibration services at manufacturers’ facilities.

  • Every instrument is supplied with a calibration certificate.
  • Advanced calibration services at manufacturers’ facilities abroad, coordinated and supported by Elina.
  • The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015. Certificate I31417 is valid until 7 April 2028.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most common questions about our products and services

No. Sensors measure displacement, velocity or acceleration. Selection depends on frequency range and bearing and machine type, rather than only the desired display unit.

Non-contact displacement probes can measure shaft motion relative to its housing. Contact-mounted velocity and acceleration sensors measure housing vibration. The locations and measured quantities differ.

A technology with DC response is required. For example, HBK 6952 uses capacitive MEMS and supports motion and tilt; verify this capability in the selected model.

The output unit alone does not define the connection. For example, a 6802 CCLD sensor needs cable current power, while a differential MEMS sensor requires a suitable voltage supply and interface.

Compare response bands at the same tolerance and measurement conditions. Resonance frequency, response-band limit and DAQ sampling rate are separate properties.

Check the specification conditions for the sensor and connection together. For example, AS-247 documents IP66/IP67 for the sensor and cable connector, and AC-1401 also has its own temperature limit. Do not assume the sensor rating covers an open connector or any replacement cable.
